POSITION: Civil/Environmental Engineer
DEPARTMENT: Civil Engineering
LOCATION: Highland, IN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessment reports and field investigation
    According to ASTM E1527-13
  • Field sampling of soil and groundwater samples for environmental testing
  • Perform environmental regulation compliance and/or permit assistance.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis such as soil classification according to ASTM D2487-11
  • Coordinate with underground utility companies before excavation
  • Supervise safety for drilling activities.
  • Analysis of exploratory borings and sample collection.
  • Maintenance of relevant records, project cost estimates, preparation of reports/deliverables, client consultations.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum education of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Prefer with Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited university
  • Prefer with 3 years of experience in Environmental and Geotechnical Engineering
  • OSHA 30 hour Construction
  • Must have a driver's license and a vehicle to travel
